Webinar on “Managing Financial Resources in COVID-19”
On 26th June 2020, Department of Commerce, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna has organized a webinar on “Managing Financial Resources in COVID-19” from 11 AM to 12 noon on Google Meet Online platform.
The session began with the address by Dr. M.S. Khatri (Principal) who wished the students for their future endeavors and encouraged them to keep enriching their knowledge through such webinars and online competitions. The resource persons of this webinar Mr. Hemraj S. Joshi (CA & CS), Head of Investment Mid Office Operation at Max Life Insurance and Ms. Gayatri Joshi (MBA), Founding member of Pagdandi Group of Companies were welcomed by Ms. Neha Gupta (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce).
Mr. Hemraj S. Joshi aware the students on various investment and insurance tools available in the market and how to choose the one as per their needs and requirements. Ms. Gayatri Joshi further guided them on Mutual Funds and how the market risks in such product is associated with the rate of return. The queries students and faculty were resolved effectively and clearly by the resource persons. A vote of thanks was given by Dr. S.P. Monga (Senior Faculty, Department of Commerce) who thanked the resource persons for sparing their time for the students. The session concludes with the collection of online feedback from the participants.
The session was attended by 150 students and 14 Faculty Members, to which E-Certificates were sent through email.
