Tree Plantation and Save Tree Campaign

On 18th July 2020, Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial College, Sohna carried out a Tree Plantation Drive in its Alwar-Road Campus in which nearly 200+ plant saplings were planted.

In this drive, approximately 25 SNCF Volunteers from Sohna and Ghamroj Branch, Gurugram, as well as students and staff of the college, participated. The principal Dr. M. S. Khatri, addressing the participants, motivated them to not only plant but adopt the plant saplings and Pledge to take care of them till they become big in size. He further praised the effort made by volunteers of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation for sparing their time in this activity.

The plant saplings were of native plant species in which 25-30 herbal plants such as Kari Patta, Tulsi, Sanjana, Pudina, Aloe Vera, etc. were also included.

The drive began at 06:00 AM and concluded at 09:30 AM with the distribution of refreshment to all. Precautionary measures such as social distancing, usage of masks and gloves were taken at all times.
