Women Cell
The NBGSM College has a Women Cell in the college campus for the women faculty, staff and girl students, to improve their understanding of the issues related to women with an aim of creating awareness of their rights and duties. The cell organizes various seminars, talks, extension lectures, awareness programmes, and other welfare activities.
This cell has following functions towards girl students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the institute:
- To prevent sexual harassment and to promote the general well-being
- To provide appropriate working conditions in respect of work, leisure, health, and hygiene.
- To prevent hostile environment toward women at work places.
- To resolve any grievances related to sexual harassment of women.
