Webinar on The Impact of Coronavirus in The Indian Economy and Employment
The Department of Commerce, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organised a college level Webinar for Post Graduate students on 3rd June, 2021 (Thursday) via Google Meet platform. The theme of the webinar was The Impact of Coronavirus in The Indian Economy and Employment. The organising committee consisted of Dr. Sapna Agarwal and Mrs. Anju Bhardwaj. The program began with the welcome address by Dr. O.P. Kalra. He addressed the audience and shared his views on the need of this webinar through his welcome speech. Later, the keynote address was delivered by Mrs. Anju Bhardwaj. She informed the students with significant information. Almost 40 students attended the webinar. 17 Students pursuing M.Com. (Previous and Final) presented their Research papers and PowerPoint presentations on the theme. All the Presenters exhibited the best of themselves. Two Judges Ms. Neha Gupta and Mrs. Ruchika Agarwal evaluated the performance of the presenters based on criteria of 3 C’s content, communication and confidence. Best paper award was won by Ms. Renu Bala from M.Com. (Final). Ms. Tamanna Saini and Ms. Pragti Khurana from M.Com. (Previous) won the second position. A team of four students Ms. Rachna Jindal, Ms. Divya, Ms. Diksha and Mr. Ashwani from M.Com. (Previous) won the third position. Consolation Prize was won by Ms. Mahima Raghav from M.Com. (Final). They were felicitated with certificates and prizes. The session was concluded by Ms. Neha Gupta and Mrs. Ruchika Agarwal where they appreciated the efforts of the participants and motivated them to perform better in future and congratulated the members of organising committee of seminar Dr. Sapna Agarwal and Mrs. Anju Bhardwaj for a successful event. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sapna Agarwal.
