Three days Faculty Development Program
The Department of Commerce, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organised Three days Faculty Development Program for the faculty members and Post Graduate students from 27th October 2021 to 29th October 2021 via offline and online mode. The theme of the FDP was “Information Discovery Tools and Techniques”. Three eminent speakers from the Department of Commerce were invited to share their thoughts on the topic. The speaker of the first day session was Ms. Ruchika Aggarwal, Assistant Professor in Commerce. She delivered her talk on the significant information about Mendeley Software through offline mode. The speakers of the second and third day were Ms. Nikita Khatana, Assistant Professor in Commerce and Ms. Teena Malhotra, Assistant Professor in Commerce respectively. These sessions included varied topics in the domain of information discovery tools and techniques. They shared their valuable insights on the topic and motivated the audience for their active participation. There were 72 members in total (faculty and students) who attended the FDP. For online mode, Google meet platform was used. Each session was of 60 minutes and it included open question-answer session also. All the speakers motivated and congratulated the members of organising committee- Ms. Neha Gupta, Ms. Anju Bhardwaj and Dr. Sapna Agarwal for the successful event. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Neha Gupta (Convener of FDP).
