National Youth Day
Red Ribbon Club of N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2022 through Google meet at 12:30 PM. 63 students participated in the program. Sujata, Payal, Sanjana, Mohd. Bilal, Nitesh, Bhawna, Hema, Pinky (B. Com. II), Tanisha, Komal (B.Com. I) and Monika (B. Com. III) participated and recited poem on youth, narrated stories on Swami Vivekananda, explained the reasons of celebrating National Youth Day, talked about the history of National Youth Day etc. Ms. Sanjna and Ms. Shrutika (Assistant Professor) also shared quotes of Swami Vivekananda.
As per the letter of Haryana State AIDS Control Society, NACO AIDS APP and National Toll-free Helpline 1097 for awareness about HIV/AIDS were promoted among students. Students of college participated in Nail act, face painting in mask making to spread awareness on HIV/AIDS.. Ms. Neha Gupta (Incharge, Red Ribbon Club) appreciated all the students for their active participation and presented a PPT on National Youth Day. She also delivered an awareness lecture on HIV/AIDS and motivated the students to spread awareness among their families and society as they are the youth of the country. Program ended on a very happy note.
