National Voter’s Day
The NCC Cell, Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial College, Sohna celebrated National Voter’s & 73rd Republic Day on 25th January 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on the theme ‘Making Elections Inclusive Accessible and Participative’ online through Google Meet platform. This session was addressed by NCC ANO Major Keshav Dev Sharma who is also an Associate professor in Ganesh Datt Goswami Sanatan Dharm College Palwal. He addressed NCC Cadets and told about the use of voting right in elections and also discussed about the process of enrollment. This program was launched by the former President of India Partibha Devi Singh Patil on 25/01/2011 to enhance voting percentage in elections. Major Keshav Dev Sharma discussed about the importance of Republic Day. Around 40 NCC Cadets participated in the program. In the end, all NCC Cadets took an oath. The program was organized by Sh. Shekhar Gautam, Incharge of NCC in the College.
