Music Workshop
A Music workshop was organized for the students of Music vocal of class BA 1st,BA 2nd and BA 3rd by the department of music NBGSM College, Sohna on 12 December 2022 from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. This workshop was attended by 57 students very enthusiastically. The topic of the workshop was “Shastriya Sangeet aivm sugam sangeet mein Tanpura aur Harmonium ka prayogik drishti se mehatv” , which was explained by Mr. Amarjeet Singh (Asst. Professor, Music) , that how the tuning of tanpura, uses of manual tanpura and harmonium is beneficial for the development of a music student. A short video was also played based on tanpura to connect and active participation of the students.
The practical session was ended with the singing of Saraswati Vandana by all the students with accompaniment by Mr. Guruvijay Sagar on Tabla and the workshop successfully conducted by the team of Music Department.
