MUSIC WORKSHOP

A Music workshop was organized for the students of Music vocal of class BA 1st,BA2 nd and BA 3rd by the department of music NBGSM College, Sohna on 28 FABRUARY 2023 from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. This workshop was attended by 36 students very enthusiastically. The topic of the workshop was “PRAYOGIK DRISHTI SE TABLE KA VARN GYAAN AIVM MUKHYA TAALON KA PRAYOG” , which was explained by Mr. Guruvijay Sagar (Tabla Player) and Amarjeet Singh (Asst. Professor, Music) , that how Tabla is an important instrument in Indian Music and how we compose basic Bols through varnas and form a Taal . An activity to produce some bols on tabla was done by the students. The practical session was ended with singing some bollywood songs and the prayer “Itni Shakti Hame Dena Data” having 6 beats / 8 beats by all the students with accompaniment by Mr. Guruvijay Sagar on Tabla and the workshop successfully conducted by the team of Music Department.
