International Literacy Day 2019

On Saturday, September 7th, 2019, Literary Club has celebrated International Literacy Day in Seminar Hall, New Campus at 12:00 PM on the theme of “Literacy and Multilingualism”. The program began with the speech on international literacy day by Ms. Shivani and Ankita from B.Com. (H) 2nd year followed by a poetry session. English poem “Education a key to life” was presented by Ms. Komal Raghav from M.A Economics, Haryanvi Poem “Education System” by Praveen from M.Com. Final, Hindi Poem “Linguistic Diversity of India” by Renu Bala from M.Com. Previous. Furthermore, a mesmerizing musical performance was given by the team of students Prashant from B.Sc., Ashish and Himanshu from B.Com. (H) which was enjoyed and cherished by all. It was followed by stage play which was performed by the students on the theme Literacy and Multilingualism. Around 60 students attended this program which was enjoyed and cherished by all. The program was ended with the vote of thanks given by Mrs. Anju Bhardwaj (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Economics).
