Industrial Visit to Barclays

The Placement Cell of the college has organized an industrial visit to Barclays Noida sector 62 under the Barclays Life Skills Training Program on 14th September 2022. Through this initiative, students aim to experience an industry visit as well as engage themselves with corporate culture. The theme of this visit was ‘Career Sharing & Interviewing Skills’ in which the employees shared their career journey experiences and their very own inspirational stories. Eighteen students from various classes along with Ms. Rohini Kumari (In charge, Placement Cell) attended the program.

The program was graced with Managing Director of Barclays Mr. Sumit Pandey. He shared his journey as well as working conditions in the corporate sector after covid-19. He also counsels one of the students named Nishant from BCA 2nd Year.

In this visit, 10 experienced and specialized employees from Barclays namely; Mr. Sukhwinder, Ms. Prerna, Ms. Jyotisha, Mr. Mayank, Mr. Sanjay, Mr. Sumit Pandey, Ms Roshni, Ms. Lauria, Mr. Ayush shared their career journey and took the students for a visit in various departments of Barclays. They Shared the working of banking and financial services of Barclays bank in India as well as in Britain with the students. Thereafter, one to one counseling was done on the topics corporate work life, Resume Writing, Mock Interviews, Soft-skills development etc. In the end, four students presented a gratitude note to them for sharing their valuable experiences and time. Through this initiative, we aim to transform the lives of the students and to help them achieve their dreams.
