Importance of Investor Education & Protection

On 18-Oct.- 2022, Extension Committee in collaboration with the Department of Commerce of NBGSM College (Alwar Road Campus) organized an extension lecture on importance of investor education and Protection on the occasion of the World Investor Week which was a week-long, global campaign promoted by IOSCO to raise awareness about the importance of investor education and protection and highlighted the various initiatives of securities regulators in these two critical areas. They conducted virtual Investor Awareness Programs where an expert speaker from BIAP (Krishna Foundation) delivered the session. The speaker was welcomed by Ms. Anju Bhardwaj (Head of the Dept.). The resource person for this session was volunteered by their own group offered insights over the topic. The session was quite insightful and informative. Participants were also awarded with the certificates. In the end, the vote of thanks was culminated by Ms. Nirmala (Convener of Extension committee) and the insightful event concluded.
