Extension Lecture on Women Empowerment
Women Cell, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized an Extension Lecture on Women Empowerment on 3rd December 2021 at 11 am in Conference Hall, New Campus. Prof. Indu Agnihotri, Retired Director, Centre for Women’s Development Studies, New Delhi was the resource person for the session. Topic of the session was domestic violence against women. Firstly, Dr. M.S. Khatri (Principal) welcomed the Guest with a bouquet. Prof. Indu explained about the position of women in society, Indian Constitution etc. She motivated the students that we should be aware about our fundamental rights. She also explained that contribution of male is equally important for the upliftment of women’s position in society. She answered the queries made by students. In the end, Mrs. Prerna Sharma, Vice-Principal gave the vote of thanks. It was an energetic session for the students.
