Extension Lecture On "Careers In Securities Markets"

Department of Economics, Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial College, Sohna, has organised an extension lecture on the topic “Careers in Securities Markets” on 23rd November, 2022 in SMART Classroom (Room No. 7) Ground Floor, City Campus. The expert lecture delivered by Mr Sanjeev Bajaj, Marketing Manager from National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), Mumbai. The session started on 10:30 am with a formal welcome by Ms Akshita (Student of Economics, BA-II), and Dr Satpal (Event Convener) introduced Mr Sanjeev Bajaj (Expert). The College Principal, Prof. M.S. Khatri extended warm welcome of Mr Sanjeev Bajaj and gifted him a plant as a token of his gratitude.

Around 90 students (BA Economics, and B.Com.) along with Ms Jyoti Jain, and Dr Soumya (Faculties of Economics) were participated in this session. The session was very active and interactive in nature. The session was explained about what are the securities markets and careers opportunities in the securities markets. The session was ended with the vote for thanks by Ms Akshita at 12:00 noon.

The lecture was well received and a gainful experience for all. Thanks to all teaching and non-teaching members for their cooperation.
