Extension Lecture by Music Department
An Extension Lecture was organized for the students of Music vocal of class BA 1st,BA 2nd and BA 3rd by the department of music NBGSM College, Sohna on 20 December 2022 from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. The team of Music department welcomed the guest speaker Dr. Lokesh Sharma (Asst. Professor, Music) from Govt. College for Girls, Sector -14, Gurgram. The topic of the lecture was “Sugam Sangeet , Up-Shastriya Sangeet and shastriya sangeet mein antarsambandh ”. The lecture was attended by 47 students very enthusiastically.
In which he interacted with all the students practically on the subject, moreover he told that how music is interconnected with other subjects like yoga, psychology, science, economics etc..
The extension lecture was ended with the singing of some Folk tunes and light music which was accompanied by Mr. Guruvijay Sagar on Tabla and the workshop successfully conducted by the team of Music Department.
