Extension Lecture : Agricultural Price Policy in India
The Department of Economics, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized an Extension Lecture on the topic ‘Agricultural Price Policy in India’ on 10th January 2022. The Extension lecture started with the inaugural address by Mr. Deepak Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics.
Dr. Parveen Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Govt. College, Jatusana, Rewari and young scholar awardee of RBI was invited as the resource person. He has an experience of more than 6 years in teaching. He briefly reflected his thoughts on Agricultural Price Policy in India, Minimum Support Price, issue of MSP and farmer’s protest. Overall, the lecture was very informative. The program ended with a warm vote of thanks by Ms. Rohini Kumari (Head of the Department, Economics). Appreciable feedbacks of students made the event remarkable.
