Diwali Fest
On Saturday, 14th October 2017, N.B.G.S.M College has organized a Diwali Fest in New Campus. The main objective of this fest was to develop the entrepreneurship skills and creativity among the students. The fest began at 10:00 AM with the ribbon cutting and lamp lightning ceremony by Rev. R.S. Manhas ji (Executive President, NBGSM College) and Dr. M. S. Khatri ji (Principal, NBGSM College). This was followed by the inauguration of the College Annual Magazine “Gyanankur” and its first monthly E-Newsletter “Campus Chronicles”. The Fest, on one hand was lined up with various types of stalls viz. Food, Art and Craft, Gaming and Mehndi Designing, etc. which was organized by the students of the college. On the other hand, various competitions viz. Rangoli, Painting, Photography and Clay Modelling was also going on. Students from every department have participated in this program with great zeal and enthusiasm. Musical performance by Mr. Anchal Vishal Mishra (Assistant Professor, Music) further added life to this event.
In the end, the prizes of various competitions were declared in which Kunal and Rajat from B. Com IInd year won the Best Seller prize followed by Pushpa from M.Com (P) who won the prize of Best Rangoli. Jatin from BCA IInd year won the prize in Best Photography followed by Subhash from B.A. Ist year in the category of Best Painting. The program concludes at 02:30 PM with the distribution of Trophies and Certificates by the Principal, Dr. M.S. Khatri.
