Cleanliness Drive
On the occasion of 66th Birth Anniversary of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj, Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial (NBGSM) College, Sohna has organised a Cleanliness Drive at Civil Hospital, Sohna on Sunday, 23rd Feb. 2020. Principal Dr. M.S. Khatri addressing the students, staff and sewadal members emphasised on the philosophy of removing the pollution from the heart and mind and by participating in this noble act of cleanliness. In this drive approximately 125 students and staff members of NBGSM College were present along with 20 sewadal members from Sohna Branch. The event began at 08:00 am with the prayer, followed by allocation of sewa in which the staff members and students team were divided into different teams for parks, surrounding areas and hospital premises. The students enthusiastically participated in this drive and cleaned hospital’s outer premises, parks and the garbage were disposed off through garbage trucks. Sh. Rohtash (First Aid Trainer) appreciated the efforts made by students in this act of cleanliness and praised the initiative made by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in organising this nationwide Cleanliness and Tree Plantation Drive. In addition, he also made aware the students about the First-Aid measures one should take in case of emergencies. The event concluded at 12:00 noon with the distribution of refreshment for all.
