Celebration of World Entrepreneurs Day

Wednesday, 24th August 2022, On invitation from Gurugram University to attend the celebration of World Entrepreneurs Day 2022, two faculty members Ms. Rohini Kumari (Placement Incharge) and Ms. Mansi Tondon (Assistant Professor, PDP) along with the 13 students from N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna attended the program held at Govt. College for Women, Sec-14, Gurugram. The purpose of the program was to create awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership among the stakeholders. In Line with this thought, Gurugram University and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University jointly celebrated the World Entrepreneurs Day “UTHISHTHI- Ideate, Innovate, Illuminate” on 24th August 2022. More than 500 students, faculty members and dignitaries from various colleges and universities attended the program.

The program graced with the chief guest Shri Satish Kumar (Akhil Bhartiya Sangh Sanchalak), and other dignitaries Prof. Raj Nehru (Vice-Chancellor, SVSU), Dr. Jyoti Rana, Dean ( Skill Faculty of Management Studies & Research(SFMSR) ), Sh. Ramesh Aggarwal (MD, Bikanerwala), Sh, Arvind Kaul (East West Company), and founders of Jiva Ayurveda, Kashti Enterprise, Uconji etc. The Program began with the Kathak/Bharatnatyam Dance Performance by legendary dancer Smt. Erra. After the performance, students and alumni of SVSU and Gurugram University were awarded for their successful entrepreneurship and as budding entrepreneurs. Thereafter, Various Successful Entrepreneurs and budding entrepreneurs shared their career journey with the students and motivated them to innovate and follow their dreams. The program ended with the influential speech of chief guest Sh. Satish Kumar.
