Career Planning Workshop
Placement Cell, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized a career Planning workshop for the students in New Campus on 31st May 2022. The session began at 11:30 AM with a felicitation ceremony by Mrs. Anju Bhardwaj, Head of the Department, Commerce. She welcomed the guest speaker Mr. Varun Bhutani (Director, Alpha Atoms and CMO, Pragmatic Leaders) by presenting a bouquet. He has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate field.
The workshop was divided into four modules-
- Skills Set
- Resume Building
- How to hunt for jobs
- Interview Skills
Mr. Bhutani explained various modules through presentation, examples, activities and interaction with the students. He emphasized on the importance of the skill set which is required for every job. He further explained about internships and training to gain practical experience of the industry. He also interacted with the students which made the event more interesting. Mr. Bhutani told the students about the needs of the industry so that they could acquire the skill set accordingly. In the end, he shared some personal experiences of the corporate sector as well as about the Linkedin social media platform for finding job opportunities. In this workshop, about 120 students participated from various classes.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Ms. Mansi Tondon (Member, Placement Cell) and token of regard to the speaker Mr. Varun Bhutani was presented by Ms. Rohini Kumari (Incharge, Placement Cell.)
