City Campus

Placement Cell, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organised a career counselling session for the students of B.Com and BA Final year students on 17th November 2021 in Smart Classroom, City Campus at 01:00 PM. The main objective of the program was to counsel students regarding career and placement. The session was taken by Ms. Mansi Tandon (Assistant Professor, Personality Development). She delivered her lecture on career planning, various job descriptions and various skills required for jobs. She motivated the students to acquire various skills and plan their career to crack the interview. Furthermore, she also explained various tips and tricks to develop the skills and personality during the final year.

In the end, Ms. Rohini Kumari (Assistant Professor, Economics) informed the students about the short term courses offered by the college and motivated them to get enrolled in the program to develop their skills. Thereafter, queries of the students were taken by Ms. Mansi Tandon. The session ended on a positive note.

New Campus

On 22nd December 2021, Placement Cell, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized a Career Counselling Session for the Final Year Students of all SFS courses in Conference Hall, New Campus at 12:30 pm. The main objective of the program was to guide the students about how they can choose right career. The theme of the program was “Journey-Vision of the Right Career”. Around 60 students attended this session.

The session was taken by Ms. Mansi Tandon (Assistant Professor, Personality Development). In this session, she talked about the following things:

  • How to do a self-assessment test?
  • How to set SMART goals?
  • Various hard and soft skills required for placement
  • Various benefits of job
  • Scope and job opportunities after graduation

Furthermore, she motivated students to learn various skills which could help them to crack an interview. She also informed about various sources where they could enroll themselves for short-term courses.

In the end, Ms. Rohini Kumari (Assistant Professor, Economics) informed students about the short-term skill development courses offered by the College and motivated them to enroll for any program that could help them in future. The session ended on a positive note at 01:30 pm.
