Yoga Training Program
A few minutes of Yoga during the day helps in reducing the stress that accumulates daily, in both body as well as mind. Yoga postures, pranayama and meditation are effective techniques to release stress. Meditation relaxes and rejuvenates the body and mind. With this aim in mind, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized Two Weeks Yoga Training Program for the students and staff from 7th to 21st February 2022. Dr. Vijata Arya (CMO at Kayakalpa Yoga and Naturopathy center) was the yoga instructor. In the beginning, Dr. M.S. Khatri (Principal) motivated the staff and students and told about making yoga as an integral part of our daily life by extending the practice of yoga beyond the mat.
During this training program, Dr. Vijata Arya trained the students and staff with various Yoga Asanas, Meditation, Kriya and Pranayam. She also demonstrated and discussed diet patterns and diet charts that could be followed to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, Practical demonstrations of Kriya like Jal Neti, Rabar Neti, Kunjal were also given. Various yoga postures for relieving stress, reducing joint pain and enhancing the flexibility of the back were explained. Everyday students and staff from both campuses participated in the session with full interest, enthusiasm and eagerness. The training program concluded with an interactive session between the instructor and the participants in which the queries were addressed satisfactorily. The session was very refreshing, reviving and relaxing.
