Career Counseling Session
The goal of career counseling is to provide students with the knowledge that they need to make important decisions while choosing their careers. With this aim, on 30th June 2021, a career counseling session was organized by the Department of Economics through the Google Meet platform. The session was conducted for the students of Economics (UG & PG). The session was started and facilitated by Mr. Deepak Kumar (Assistant Professor) by introducing our resource person Dr. Subhash Associate Professor (Economics) Dronacharya Govt. College, Gurugram. He threw light on the importance of economics in various aspects. He further discussed career options like banking, insurance, share market, Indian economic service and other corporate sector opportunities in the field of economics. The second session was taken by Ms. Jyoti Jain who elaborated on various initiatives and supports provided by the Department of Economics to shape the career of the students. The program was ended with a vote of thanks from Ms. Rohini Kumari who also motivated the students to pursue higher education in the field of economics. Appreciable feedbacks of student have made the event a remarkable one.
