Extension Lecture on Young Investor Awareness Program
Department of Commerce, Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial College, Sohna organized an Extension Lecture on the topic “Young Investors Awareness” on 25thMay 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM through Google Meet. Mrs. Shakuntala Pareek and Mr. Jafruddin, Financial Education Trainer by NISM and Bombay Stock Exchange were the resource persons of the program. 85 students attended this program. Knowledge of various topicslike history of BSE, why saving &investment, financial planning, investment options, mutual fund and its working, RD, FD, PPF, SSY, securities market, Demat account, where not to invest, fraudactivities and calls was imparted by Resource Persons to the students. Ms. Neha Gupta (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce) gave the vote of thanks to the Resource persons for providing valuable information to the students. Different queries were also raised by the students which were answered by Mr. Jafruddin. 75 students filled the feedback form and got the certificates.
It was a good and knowledgeable experience for all students who attended this program.
