General Awareness Session on Indian Economy

On 20-Aug-2019, Literary Club organized a General Awareness Session on Indian Economy in Seminar Hall, New Campus with an aim of enhancing the students’ basic concepts and current affairs on the Indian economy. The awareness session includes discussion on various types topics viz. Indian Economy, Current Affairs, Monetary policy, NITI Aayog and Various Personalities in News etc. Mr Deepak Kumar, Assistant Professor in Economics explained about RBI & its Monetary Policy followed by discussion on NITI Ayog by Ms. Komal Raghav from M.A. Economics. Ms. Renu Bala from M.Com. (P) discussed current affairs and various personalities in news and Mr. Amit Kumar from M.Com. (P) discussed basic concepts of Indian Economy. This awareness session ends with a Question-Answer Round so that the students memorizes the facts and figures of the session clearly. The session concluded with encouraging words from senior faculty Dr. O.P. Kalra (Coordinator, SFS) followed by National Anthem.
