Observance of Vigilance awareness week 2018
On October 26th, 2018, NBGSM College observed Vigilance Awareness Week by organizing a Debate Competition on this year’s theme i.e. Eradicate corruption- Build a new India.
The programme began with lightning the lamp by the Chief Guest Sh. K. Somarajan, Deputy General Manager (Vigilance) SBI and Guest of Honour Sh. Vipin Chopra, Asst. General Manager (Vigilance) SBI followed by welcoming the guests with a bouquet by Dr. Madhu Bala Gupta (Officiating Principal). This was followed by the speech from Chief Guest, Sh. K. Somarajan in which he narrated the history of SBI, various issues being faced in the field of corruption and why its eradication is required.
A Nukkad Natak Performance followed the conclusion of debate competition in which students of NBGSM College performed on the theme: Eradication of Corruption. Prizes were distributed to the winners, participants and Nukkad Natak team which was followed by the Integrity Pledge taken by all to eradicate corruption.
