Special Session for Girls

NBGSM College has organized a Special Session for Girls at its New Campus on October 26, 2017. The Objective of this programme was to build self-confidence and personality of the girl students.

The eminent speakers invited were Mrs. Raman Manhas (Educationist, Soft skills trainer & Image consultant) and Mrs. Hema Mutreja (Senior Guidance Counselor with St. Marks Sr. Secondary School). They were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Dr. M.S. Khatri and Executive President of the College, Rev. R.S. Manhas with bouquet as a token of respect.

Mrs. Raman Manhas presented her lecture on Time Management and Image Grooming, where she motivated the students on valuing their time and how they can manage stress while pursuing their coursework. She also discussed about the aspects of time management viz. planning & goal setting, managing yourself, dealing with others. She also mentioned that one should set his/her AIM in a “SMART” way (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time Bound) so as to choose the correct path. She concluded her session by providing grooming tips to the students.

This was followed by the lecture on Relationship & Future Projections by Mrs. Hema Mutreja. She began her session with a simple muscle relaxing exercise followed by a motivational video on identifying yourself. In her lecture she discussed why relationships are an important part of our lives and our decisions and choice regarding them should be clear. She further said that we have to change our perspective from auto pilot mode to self control mode. For that we must work on our aim to make our lives worth living. She concluded her session with the rules of success which every student must follow if they want to achieve better results.

The event concludes with the vote of thanks by the Principal, Dr. M.S. Khatri. The session was very enriching and motivating for everyone.
