Inter-Class Debate Competition
Department of Economics, NBGSM College, has organized a “Inter-Class Debate Competition” on 03-10-2017. The topics of this debate competition were “Smartphone vs Smart Brain”, “Is Population Growth of India an Asset or Liability” and “Positive and Negative Impact of Demonetization”. In this contest, Muskan from B.Com. (H) 1st year and Tanuj from B.Com. 3rd year got first position. Ankita from B.Com. 3rd year and Parul from M.com (F) got second position. Shokeen from B.Com. 1st year and Meenakshi from M.com (F) got third Position.
The competition began with a brief address by the speakers Ms. Rakhi and Ms. Preeti Kaushik from M.A (Economics) on the said topic and short description about the debate competition. The contest was judged by Mrs. Sapna Aggarwal, Mrs. Narita Ahuja and Mrs. Jyoti Jain. In this contest, 26 students participated from different classes and each of them attempts their best in this event. The event was concluded by the distribution of certificates to the winners and a vote of thanks by Dr. Sapna Aggarwal.
