Quiz Competition

On 27th February, the Department of English in NBGSM College organized a quiz competition in the Smart Room of the City Campus. The event was attended by students from various departments of the college, and the competition was highly competitive. The quiz competition was conducted in four rounds, which included questions related to literature, grammar, vocabulary, and general knowledge. Each round had a set of questions that tested the participant’s knowledge in the respective area.

The participants were divided into teams representing their respective departments and named after famous literary works. The teams comprised three members each, and they were given buzzers to answer the questions. The teams were judged based on the number of correct answers and the time taken to answer them.

The results were announced at the end of the quiz competition, and the winners were declared. The team from the Commerce Department secured the first position, followed by the Department of Chemistry in the second position, and the BA 1st-year students in the third position.

The winners were awarded certificates and prizes, and the event was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head of the Department of English. The quiz competition was highly engaging and informative, and it served as an excellent platform for the students to showcase their knowledge and skills.

Overall, the quiz competition was a huge success, and it was a testament to the efforts the Department of English put in to encourage and promote learning among the students. It was an enjoyable and enlightening experience for everyone who attended the event
