Awareness Program
Red Ribbon Club, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized an online Awareness Program on ‘First Aid Training, Tobacco Addiction and its preventive measures, TB, HIV and Leprosy’ on 27th December 2021 from 11 am to 12:30 pm through Google meet. Around 112 students attended this session. Firstly, Dr. Keshav Sharma (Deputy Civil Surgeon, Civil Hospital, Gurugram) explained about the symptoms of TB, HIV and Leprosy. He also explained its curative measures and their centers for help. Dr. Vinay (Psychiatrist, Civil Hospital, Gurugram) told about Tobacco Addiction and its preventive measures. He also highlighted that how people become used to this addiction due to peer pressure. Dr. Arun Saini (Public Health Specialist, Civil Hospital, Gurugram) explained about First Aid Training. He told that how a person can help others if required at the right time. At the end of session, Ms. Neha Gupta (Incharge, RRC) presented the vote of thanks to all the three resource persons for sharing valuable information with the students. She also motivated the students to share this information with their family members and friends.
