Webinar on Mental Health
Red Ribbon Club, N.B.G.S.M. College, Sohna organized a Webinar for students on the topic “Mental Health” on 19th June 2021 from 5 PM to 6 PM through Google Meet. 74 students attended this session. Mr. Istkharul Hasan, Psychologist, Civil Hospital, Nuh was the Resource Person of the Session. Mr. Hasan explained symptoms, precautions and remedies of Schizophrenia. He conversed with the students about depression in youth and how it can be treated. He also explained importance of first 1000 days of life, as in this period, lifelong health and intelligence of a baby develops. He also spoke on mental pressure felt by people during Covid-19. Many students raised their personal queries which were answered by Mr. Hasan patiently. In the end, vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Neha Gupta (Incharge, RRC). 64 students filled the feedback form.
This session really delivered gems of knowledge to students.
