Parliament Session
Department of Political Science, NBGSM College has conducted an activity on “Parliament Session” for their students on 30th August 2018 in the city campus. The session started with a welcome address by the Principal Dr. M.S Khatri in which he gave a brief idea about the functioning of parliament and also motivated the students to participate in various activities to overcome their hidden talent.
A video documentary on “Non-confidence Motions” was prepared by Ms. Sarita Bhardwaj to give a clear idea on the actual happening inside a parliament i.e. the part of opposition party and ruling party. The session was followed by a debate competition for the students. The topics in the debate competition includes (1) Demonetisation (2) GST (3) Swachh bharat abhiyan (4) Mudra loan yojana and (5) Pradhan mentri ujjwala yojana. Students gave their own idea on these topics which was scrutinized by the faculty members. The session ended with the prize distribution by Dr. Madhu Bala Gupta:
